🧺 What You’ll Need:

  • Bite-sized treats your pet loves (or a toy for a healthier option)

  • Clicker (optional for clicker training)

  • Quiet space without distractions

  • A calm, patient attitude 😊

Goal: Get your pet to sit calmly on command.

Steps:

  1. Stand or kneel in front of your pet. Hold a treat close to their nose to get their attention.

  2. Slowly move your hand upward, just above their head. Their head will naturally follow the treat, and their rear will lower to the floor.

  3. The moment their bottom touches the ground, say "Sit" in a calm, clear voice.

  4. Immediately give them the treat and praise warmly: “Good sit!”

  5. Repeat this 5–10 times in a session, a few times per day.

Tip: If they jump or back away, reset and try again with smaller, slower movements.

Training Tips:

  • Short sessions (5–10 minutes max) keep it fun and prevent boredom.

  • Practice 3–5 times per day with breaks in between.

  • End every session on a win—even a small success!

  • Use clear, consistent command words.

  • Fade out treats over time, but always keep verbal praise
